Our B&B home is situated less than 2km from Kilkenny City , Kilkenny Castle and 1 mile from Newpark Hotel and Kilkenny Golf Club. Ideal base for touring either on bicycles or by car.

Our house was originally a 17th century 2 bedroomed farmhouse cottage which has been renovated. It is set in 42 acres of farm land. We farm dry stock and suckler cows. Our animals graze our green fields during summer and are housed in winter and fed with silage and hay which we harvest during the summer months.

Jenkinstown Woods are just 3 miles away which boasts 6 miles of wooded walkways, picnic area, wild life and deer to be seen or stroll through our fields at your leisure and view our farm animals.

The farm can rightly boast the existance of Kilkenny's only Crannog. Crannogs are thought to have been the sites of wealthy landowners homes about 2000 yrs. ago and are usually located in the middle of peat or marsh land for protection from wild animals or thieves.
